About the Client
PathForward is a community-based homeless agency that provides housing, food, and supportive programs to help individuals rebuild their lives. The organization focuses on empowering people to become self-sufficient through life classes such as budgeting, job readiness, and personal development. PathForward’s mission is to guide individuals toward stability, confidence, and independence.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create a brand identity that communicates hope, direction, and compassion without falling into traditional or overly somber imagery often associated with homelessness. The goal was to design a visual identity that feels uplifting, trustworthy, and community driven representing progress, opportunity, and a path toward a brighter future.
My Solution
To bring PathForward’s mission to life, I created a visual identity that represents growth, direction, and renewal. The logo features a white wordmark with an arrow inside the letter “P,” symbolizing progress and hope. I kept the design clean, modern, and approachable.
The color palette of black, white, and light purple reflects strength, compassion, and calmness. I used simple shapes and lines to show connection and new beginnings. Together, these elements create a brand identity that feels uplifting and empowering, showing PathForward’s goal to help people rebuild their lives with dignity and direction.
